on the grave marker - "Sacred to the memory of, Ezra Parker, who died, July 7, 1842, in his 97 year - - "Mr. Parker was a native of Wallingford, Conn., A Revolutionary (War) Soldier and for many years a consistent member of the Presbyterian Church."

on the monument (boulder) - "1745-1842 "Ezra Parker, presented by, his living descendants, and, The Ezra Parker Chapter, D.A.R., Royal Oak, Mich., July 15, 1928."
